I have a master page of text in MS Word (2007) or, better still, Notepad, which has a dozen or so appearances of a master keyword.

Separately, I have an (Excel) list / column of 700 or so different parameters.

For each parameter, I want to do a Replace All on the master page to replace all occurrences of the master keyword with the parameter, so as to end up with 700 pages, one for each parameter.

Can anyone tell me how to do this automatically, rather than one page / parameter at a time?

Thanks. Much appreciated for saving me a heap of time (if it can be done, of course).

Hi,

You have lets say 12 occurrences of zombie in Word.

Then you have 700 unique words in an Excel list. Lets say they are word1, word2 etc.

So now I replace all occurrences of zombie with word1. Now I have one page with 12 occurrences of word1.

Then what?

Double duh!
Thanks, mintjulep and Skip.
Hate myself! How dumb can I get!
I have done the same task before with MailMerge, but so long ago I'd forgotten.
All that hanging upside down here in Australia.
