Repartition a RAID?

I have a RAID5 server with two partitions, 4 gb and 40 gb. i need to expand the 4 gb to at least 8 gb. Is it possible to repartition the drive without reformatting the server? Soemething like Volume Manager.. etc. Please let me know how to do this. Thanks.
