Hi,

I have created windows applications under a project in Visual Studio.Net 2005. Although I renamed them later in the IDE, in my documents folder, their names retain as Windows Application1, Windows Application2 etc. How do I rename the names of the windows applications in my documents folder?

Any quick reply is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you saying that the folders retain the old names? If so, this is fairly easy to take care of. Rename your folders to the project names. Then edit the .csproj and .sln files in a text editor (NOT in VS!). As they are XML files, it's fairly easy to edit. Replace the old folder name with the new folder name.

I think you can also do a "save as" on the project, specify a folder with the project name, and then go back and manually delete the old folder.
