Renaming User Accounts.....

Hi all,
I wish to rename a users account....
Situation 1 user has left the company, 2 user has been employed to take their place.
1 user has all applications, files and doc on their machine (not roaming profiles).
I want to change 1 users account to 2 user without having to set everyting up again. 2 user will be using 1 users machine.
This is all on a Win2k workstation connected to a Win2k Server.

Can it be done?

Hi Yosh,

renaming a users account is no problem. Just select the user with a right mouse click and give in the name of the new user. The logon name and all other entries can be the same. Now the new user can logon with his name and the rights of the old user.

If you copy the old user the new user will have the same rights but all other things (for example if you are using a net drive) have to be modified.
