Renaming a Windows 2K PDC

Well, I found out myself that you can use "dcpromo.exe" to uninstall Active Directory so, i did that. I'm just wondering if this is a bad idea? Maybe I should just start clean with a new install of Win 2K? or should i just reinstall Active directory using the same installation? Has anyone been through this before?

You shouldn't have any problems...rename the computer and run DCPROMO to promote to Domain Controller.
