I have recently installed exchange 5.5 onto a new win2k server to take over from our ageing nt4 server. I have moved the mailboxes and public folders onto this new server as. I have had the old nt4 server turned off for over a week now and mail appears to be working fine.

When I try to delete the old server from the site I am told there are still 2 mailboxes on this server. I have searched everywhere for these mailboxes but can't find them. What I am worried about is if I delete this server from the site am I likely to have any major problems.

Thats what I thought for a start but I checked all the hidden mailboxes and the have been moved.

Then go ahead - you'll probably be okay, this procedure often whinges like that. If the worst comes to the worst, you could rstsore the server from the last good backup that you should have before you delete it from the site. Just to be safe, you should also have a good backup of the other server(s) in the site prior to the deletion of the server from the site.
