removing incoming caller id and parking numbers

I have found through these message board how to disable the incoming caller id on 3903 phones. However when I do this, the department can not see what number they are parking on the phone. is there a way to disable incoming caller id but have the park number show up.

we have a dispatch department that handles quite a few phone calls during the day, some of the department members are picking and choosing what numbers to pick up. The manager wants incoming caller id off of those phones so they won't be able to pick and choose who to answer.

I did successfully remove caller id but when they have to park a call, they cannot see anything on the display, so they don't know if they are hitting the right numbers or not to park the call

The ndd it making your display useless.

yes I know this now, i have taken the ndd out of the equation and just used cndd, dndd and cdcd. when I do this, I still get the caller id on the display

any other suggestions

then put in non display sets.. to turn that off you need to turn off the rest of the sets from sending.. fire the people that don't do there job or have those call outside and back in...

Duct tape over the display works well, but then again, you still have the Call Park issue and the lazy employees.


I would stick them into a ACD and start gather stats. Why manipulate your clean switch for employee behavioral issues?
