I have an Exchange 2000 Enterprise server running SP3 which was upgraded from Exchange 5.5 about 3 years ago.
It is also running on a Domain Controller...
I want to uninstall the old ADC conenctor as I believe I no longer need this because there are no Exchange 5.5 servers in the organization.
The site consists of only this one Exchange 2000 server.
The query I have is the LDAP port was changed when the server was 5.5 to port 390, to allow it to co-exist with Active Directory LDAP on the same server.
Once I remove the ADC, can I use the old Exchange 5.5 console to change the LDAP port back to 389?
Do I need to if the ADC no longer exists?
Will Exchange 2000 work running LDAP on port 389 on a 2000 Domain Controller?
