I have a data module that is no longer being used, but when I try to remove it from the station it is asigned to it tells me the "object is being used" I have busy'd the station out, changed type of phones but I get the same message. It is a G3r v.6, Any Answers?????

Here is the command "remove data-module xxxx" "x" meaning the extension of the data module being removed.

is the data mod associated with a 8411 set? if so you need to go to the last page I think to remove the association with the 8411 set, then you can delete it.

You need to do a change station and change the data-mod option on the first page to NO. You cannot do a "remove data-mod" command on a data mod associated with a station. -CL

My problem is when i try to chage the data module to no, the system says the ext is in use, I have busy'd out, "x" ported and changed ports, type of phone, but I still get the OBJECT IS IN USE< PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.
