Remove Stand By option in XP Pro

HI,

Does anyone know how to remove the Standby option when you go to:
Start -> Shutdown

I have a dell gx240 and i cant seem to remove this option from the BIOS

This is a function of APM. You'd have to disable APM in order to remove the ability to standby, and if memory serves, even when the ability isn't there because the Standard PC HAL is installed and APM is NOT installed, the option is still there, it's just greyed out.
