remove search space in my computer

Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone found a way to remove the freaking search space in my computer? I've searched the net with all kinds of version of search-strings I can come up with, but no results I did, however, find a way to remove it from IE7. But not my computer.

I also tried to search here at tek-tips, but nothing came up; regardless of my search word(s)!!

I don't believe that you can. Unless you change the start menu to the "Classic Start Menu" setting.
