I have a client with a Definity phone system and Audix VM who has requested that a single Voicemail box in Audix be prevented from being able to Press 0 to go to the Operator or perform any other functions.

They just want callers to that direct number to be able to leave messages.

Can someone tell me a simple way to make this work?

I changed the Audix covering extension to be itself, then when someone presses 0 it just stays in the box. Problem solved :)

Just remove the covering extension from the box and it will not cover anywhere.

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

Thank you very much for the suggestion, but it didn't have a covering extension before. The VM system and prompts were redirecting it. Be adding a covering extension it justs goes to itself in a loop if they keep pressing it, which is not perfect, but solves my problem of it going to the Operator.

I wanted a more elegant solution, for example, that would create a special rule for just that extension, but for now this will ahve to do.
