This may seem a silly question but I bought a new PC and want to put the firewire video card from the old one into it.
But I cannot find out how to take the panel off my Acer so I can remove it.
There arent any screws to remove that are obvious, the only ones I undid loosened the power panel so I put it back.
Kind thoughts

Some computers have the case come off from the front. GENTLY pull on the bottom of the front panel to see if it moves. You can then pull this off and if there are any screws they will be exposed. The gently part was just to see if it moved, you may have to pull hard or use a prying tool to actually get it off. I once thought the front panel came off this way and pulled a non-removable front right off a case!

I would write down the model number and go on the internet and look for a manual you can download. I have seen some acer cases that have a handle on top that you move or twist to release the case cover from the case.

Thanks good people I did eventually remember that I had to pull the front of the case.
Then I found the 2 screws to remove [ should have been three] but one was missing.

I also remembered it wasnt the original ACER case anyway I had upgraded to a tower so it was a generic one.

Thanks again
