Remove NT4 server from W2K Active Directory 1

Can somebody please tell me how I can remove the entries of an old DC (NT4 server) from a W2K environment. The server is no longer in the domain, in fact it does not exist. When I try to delete from Active Directory message says 'The DSA object cannot be deleted'.
