Hi,
I have installed SP2 for WinXP. I like it and it works fine for me. I know SP2 has made an archive just in case of uninstall. In dir C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles is 500 MB of data. I am not intenting to uninstall SP2, I would just like to remove archive files. I would like to do this because my system is backuped ones per week and 500 MB of data is unnecesary stored in backup image.
Is there any way to remove archive files from SP2 for WinXP.
There was one excellent option in win2000 service pack: at the time of installation: don't archive!!! Why was this options removed from winxp sp2?
Thanks,
Grofaty
