Hi

I would like to remove access to the public folders for one user.
I basically want it so Public Folders do not appear in their Outlook client!

I have denied access to this user on every security tab relating to the public folders but still they can view emails in these folders!

Any Ideas?

Gary

If that user is a member of a group which has rights, you need to remove the user from that group, or make a seperate group for all others.

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all.

It is a member of a restricted group that does not have access but still it can see the public folders.

Are you sure you disabled ALL access, not just read and write? There is also list, view etc...
