I need some help here I have a project coming up I have 3550/3560
Over 200 sites with anywhere 6 to 11 switches onsite
I will be configuring remotely with scripts
Cable tech onsite so no smart hands

Current cross connects configS

interface GigabitEthernet0/1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
end

I have to put this on the switches without losing any connections I tried several ways to no success any suggestions would be great

shut

switchport mode trunk

switchport trunk native vlan 5

If you are putting up trunks I don't think there is a way without taking a hit . I would be very upfront with the higher ups and tell its not possible without having the links take a hit .

Yeah

Only if there was a way to change the start up config.

I was trying to use Kron but that option is only on the 3560

kron occurrence TEST at 14:30 Feb 13 oneshot

But as this project get's closer looks like I am going to be up all night
