Remote Web Workplace connection dropping

We are running SBS 2003 and have had users connect from home using RWW with no problems for about 2 years. Over the last 6 weeks however, we are able to make the connection fine but get logged off with a message saying an internal error has occurred. It happens roughly every 20 minutes, leading me to think there's a setting somewhere that's causing this. Anyone have any idea what's causing this error?
