remote sight pinging not working

Hello All,

Got a slight problem here...I want to be able to do two things. I want to be able to ping client workstations and pcanywhere to them from my computer in headquarters.

I cannot ping there machines and I am sure pcanywhere will not work as well.

This is how it is broken down....

192.168.3.0 is thr main site network
192.168.5.0 and 1.0 are the remote networks.

Does anyone know what I need to apply to the router configs at the three sites?

At the main site I have a cisco 3640 and cisco 2611 at the remotes.

Any help, insight, information, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How are the two sites connected? Or do you want to do this over the Internet? What IOS version are you running? (do a show version)

Thanks for the response. The two sites are connected to us via frame relay.

version on the 3640 is 12.1(5)t8
2611 remote site 1 is 12.1(5) yd1
2611 remote site 2 is 12.2(6a)

What's the routing protocol running in between?

Can you successfully trace route from each site to the other end?

The routing protocol is rip version2.

I can succefully ping the remote routers from main site router and i can successfully ping the remote sites from my pix as well.

However, I cannot ping from my desktop or any desktop on the main site network without adding a static route. The default gateway on all my machines is that of the pix. If i add a satatic route to the remote netowkrs and point the gateway to the ip of the main site tourer it pings fine.

Any ideas?
