Have NT4 running RAS and VPN (via adsl router with static IP from ISP). Need to be able to assign same static IP to remote user. Have tried DHCP via reservations and could not make it work. Client is able to remotely print with or without DHCP but I have to make sure they get the same IP address due to application server being AIX/UniVerse with Samba. Currently I have to find out what IP they were assigned when they VPN in and then I have to modify samba configuration file for that queue by entering their current IP. Need help fast.
