SET UP ATA WITH VALCOM UNIT, ALL YOU DO IS DIAL EXTENSION NUMBER

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

what if i like to page the sets only since the other side doesn't have any paging system.

You can do remote paging with 2 MICS systems connected together...

Look at what remote access package is being used, and make sure that "Remote Page: Y" is set.

You then dial the first digit(s) of the remote site, followed by LINK (F71) *630

A word of caution... be very careful when making changes to the Remote Access packages... best to use a RAD to program remote site, so you don't have to be on-site.

also go to remote line acess and enter the lines you
are using from site to site, you have to do this at both
locations. It worked great for me, mics 7.0

firenut1, I have the same set-up, w/ a point to point T-1
Site A would like to see who's calling from site B
I've been told this only works w/ PRI, which I don't have.

ok, guys the page works great but i like to programmed it on a speedial bttn.
Thanks bwtc for the tip.

Program a button as an external autodial (Feature *1)

Press the button that you want to program
Dial the digit(s) to get to the remote MICS, followed by Link (F71) *630

Example: 3F71*630

thanks for the tip bwtc it works great
