I have done several searches on using the Remote Logout Agent Access Code, but can't seem to find an answer to my problem. I have used the key word search, but to no avail for my specific problem. Please forgive me if this was addressed in another thread.

My Problem:
I need to remotely log an agent out that has left for the evening. I have Coverage Remote setup using the correct COR and COS(I think), but when I get my dial tone on the PBX I get the alternating beeps trying to enter the the remote logout agent Feature Access Code. I tried doing it in the office and get the same thing for the Feature Access Code ( which is 159). What should I check if I'm getting the alternating beeps like it isn't accepting the Feature Access Code. Also I have never done this before, what steps do I follow? Sort of like recording an announcement? Dial remote access number then barrier code -after the second dial tone .... "fac code" then "agent id"?

Here is my config on the remote access.
I'm using
COS 1
COR 26

Thanks for any help!

COS: Console Permissions = Y
System Parameters Customer Options: Call Center release needs to be 9.1 or greater.
COR: Remote Logout of Agent = Y (on page 2)

I'm not sure how this is executed from outside the office, but from a station on the Definty, you:

1. Dial the FAC - receive a dial tone.
2. Dial the logon ID of the agent that you are logging off. You will receive the 3-beep confirmation tone.

I hope this helps!

I'll give it a try tonight. I know I definitley missed the COR: Remote Logout of Agent = Y (on page 2). I think this will do the trick.

Thank you!!!

Darn, still getting waived off. I thought for sure that was going to do it. It seems like the FAC isn't being taken? Are there any other limiting factors why the FAC would not be valid or denied?

Any ideas? I can check it in the office again tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it will do the same thing.

Thanks for all you help,
Jeff

At what point are you receiving the wave-off? After the FAC, or after the agent ID?

If the wave-off is happening after the agent ID, then you're trying to log off an agent that isn't logged on.

Are you trying this from a station on the Definity, or are you using the Remote Access feature to accomplish the logoff? I've done some reading on this subject today, and found that you can write a vector to logout the agent, as well.

I'm getting waived off as soon as I hit the last digit of the FAC. I can't even get to the second part to enter an agent ID. I'm trying this from Remote Access feature.

I seen some early post on loggin off agents via vectors. Would you happen to have that handy if I can't get this working?

Thanks for your help,
Jeff

ok
Just go through the privileges of your administrator station mean to say Cor.

Thank you both faizan and SF0751!!!

I changed the COR's of the agent's to "Y" for Remote Logout of Agent, but forgot to on the COR of the Remote Access feature.

Both are "y" for Remote Logout of Agent and it worked. That was driving me crazy!!!

I owe you both a beverage!!!
