Hi friends, in the (new) enterprise where I work we have a very important system: the client is connected point to point with the server (the network is 192.9.200.0/24) the problem is only we can access from the client and we cant access from the other departments in the city.
The (very old) client system have SCO 5.0.6 with just one network interface 192.9.200.50, so I connect to a switch and make a virtual interface (ifconfig net0 alias 192.168.70.195) and now I can access from any computer in the enterprise network to the FTP server and many others, but, when try to access to the X server I cant.
If I join the network 192.9.200.0/24 with an address 192.9.200.60 and send a query XDMCP (X -query 192.9.200.50) then all is very well I get the scologin screen. But, if try from an address of the enterprise LAN (192.168.70.194) with X -query 192.168.70.195 i cant access.
I use xhost + but nothing, How do I can get access from my enterprise network? if is xauth the answer, how do I use that?
A lot of thanks.
