We have the 2800 and 2900 extension ranges set aside for our Remote Sales force.

I would like people at the home office to be able to dial those extensions and have the Modular Messaging system answer as if the call was covered to voicemail. I would like to find away to do it with out having to add 200 extensions to the PBX and cover them to Voicemail. Perhaps away with Uniform-Dial-Table etc.

The Modular Messaging system 2.0 is connected with IP and uses trunk 12. We have an S8700 R2.1

I can make the messaging system answer when I dial ext 28XX etc, however I get the voicemail prompt that I would get if I were to dial and want to access my voicemail, instead of the 28xx etc leave voicemail greeting.

Its like I want to be able to convert whatever 4 digit number is dialed, and make it look like I am calling from that 4 digit number when I send the call to voicemail.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Maybe with vectors you could send the call to the voicemail for a particular voice mail box without having to set up hunt or xport for each mailbox?
