I've set up remote call forwarding as per the NTPs. I get all good tones through out the process except when I enter in the "destination number" followed by the "#". I won't let me forward to an internal or external number. Phone can be manually forwarded with no problems. I don not get the error tone till the "#". I set up all parameters to the NTPs as well as any thing picked up on previous posts to the site.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, It does not work!! forgot the not.......

Are you doing it like this?

1 Dial the DISA number and get to system dial tone
2 Dial the FFC for Remote Call Forward Activate
3 Dial the prime DN of the phone you need to forward (it needs the CFW feature)
4 Hear Dial Tone
5 Dial the number to Forward calls to, then #
6 Now hang up

Ooops me toooooo

After the FFC in #2, you need to diasl the SCPW of the TN

1 Dial the DISA number and get to system dial tone
2 Dial the FFC for Remote Call Forward Activate then the SCPW of the TN
3 Dial the prime DN of the phone you need to forward (it needs the CFW feature)
4 Hear Dial Tone
5 Dial the number to Forward calls to, then #
6 Now hang up

I would try internally before I try an external; you would have to set up trunk to trunk for the external to work.

I get all the way to the # and it errors out. Works the same with phone in system or DISA. Internal target or External number. Just can't figure out why I always get the error at the end. Frustrating................

Don't you have to use a set password somewhere in this string to make it work?

I followed the procedure as per as above and the NTP. You have to assign a SCPW to the phone being forwarded. All packages are in place per NTPs. Set can be forwarded manually but not remotely. No forward target seems to be accepted.

1. Dial the DISA number and get to system dial tone or get dial tone from phone in system.
2 Dial the FFC for Remote Call Forward Activate then the SCPW of the TN
3 Dial the prime DN of the phone you need to forward (it needs the CFW feature)
4 Hear Dial Tone
5 Dial the number to Forward calls to, then # <= This is where it errors on the #.
6 Now hang up

It sounds like it isn't accepting the password portion of the dial string. Did you try changing the SCPW password and then trying it again?

Several times, I try again just for because it can't hurt.

Can you get to the physical phone and activate CFW manually? successfully forwarding the DN you are using in the remore string of digits?

I bet it would fail - maybe due to it not being a Key 00 DN ~and~ it appears on another set? Just guessing
