Hi guys,
I have installed the remote admin console on a few of our P.C's ok, but one of them will not connect.

All bpclntcmds work on the P.C except -pn, which comes back empty.

bplcntcmds from Master to P.C work also.

Entry correct in bp.conf and services restarted.

Using DNS and all nslookups / reverse lookups work ok on both sides.

HP Unix master 4.5 MP6. Windows NT P.C

Can anybody give me an idea before all my hair is pulled out !!

Many thanks - Darren

Is the Workstation or Server behind a firewall?

No, we are all on the same LAN.

Hi
Is the port is available??

Which port do you mean.

And how do I check it ?

Many thanks.

I know this is a fudge but;
Try putting the addresses in the 'hosts' files on both sides
I know it resolves over DNS but I have had the same issues resolved by doing this - don't know why but it works.
