remote access

Dear all
I have a S8400 & G650 gateway system installed and can not connect remotely.The modem installed on site is a multitech modem as used on S8300.Can anyone help me?

A few things to check:


does the modem answer when you call the DEL/DDI if not
Have you.... enabled the modem at the web interface.

If it does answer have you set up your dialup networking on your PC and remote login id on the switch.

Thanks but the above you said ccltd are done by me. The problem is that the modem is not answering.

Another hint is that when i enable the modem for incoming calls from the web interface it shows me the following message: Failed XML

when enabling the modem make sure you disable any pop up blockers you have...some firewalls may also cause problems....another thing to try
