Hi

I have installed 2 Cisco 827 routers. 1 at our central site and 1 at our MD's house. I would like to set up remote access for my MD's house but am stumped. How do I connect if the ISP uses dynamic IP? Our domain name is hosted by our old ISP if its of any relevance. All PC's involved are running windows 2000.

I could use some help/links

Thanks

you will need to have static ip's and make sure that the ports you are working on are passive through your router. “Reserve your right to think, for even to think wrongly is better than not to think at all”

Ok I get that and it seems reasonable. But is there any information on configuring this? The site doesn't seem to offer up much on this scenario. (The scenario being: 1 827 adsl at 1 site with dynamic ip. 1 adsl 827 at another with static ip. need to set up a connection between them). I also tried our suppliers tech support but they haven't configures this scenario and mentioned using easy vpn.

Any advice would be helpful. Config examples would be mooooooooooost welcome.
