Hi,
Win 2000 server
Clients xp pro
I can connect via remote desktop to all workstations
in the office, except one. I have rechecked all the
settings with other workstations and they match.
This was the last workstation added.
Puzzled, any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the "allow users to connect remotely to this computer" box checked in the remote properties of MY COMPUTER?

If so test and see if you can access a share remotely on that machine. Maybe there is an ip conflict.

Yes the box is checked to connect remotely.
I can see the machine in network neighborhood, but
for some reason, can not ping this machine.
The machine works fine and connects to the rest of the
network. All programs function correctly.

Claudek,
Yes, but it is also running on the other machines I believe, but will recheck.
Thanks

Claudek,
Thanks, it was the xp firewall.......interesting.
