Remore desktop conenction

Guys,
i have a strange problem,
i am not able to connect to one of the server thru remote desktop connection, but i am able to ping to it, its not working only from my desktop, it works from other computer,
i am able to connect to other servers using remote desktop,
can any help me out.

The server needs to be running Terminal Server.
And, it needs free licenses.

If you start Terminal Server, your XP Pro client license will be accepted as a default license.

You should note that running Terminal Server on top of the DC, DNS or other uses of a single server is a decidedly not recommended and bad idea.

i dont have any license issue,
i am trying to connect to 2000 server(terminal Server app mode)
its not working only from my computer, it works from other computer....
any idea

Are you getting any error message? Are they mentioned in the Help and Support article under "Troubleshooting Remote Desktop Connection"?
