I know that things don't change much. But they do change and it has caused some issues. I don't have package 161 on my option 61, so i cant use network time sync. So i have to do the old "watch it and adjust it" Great, bust out the new books LD 2 -> and it says:
SDTA X X Y Set the time of day adjustment
Note:
This command is blocked for co-resident Call Server
applications (Call Server and Signaling Server applications
co-located on a CP PM server). Time of Day is controlled
from the Linux Base layer.
Or things like in LD 135 ->
all the commands about CMDU's are just gone. So are the commands for doing the sector by sector comparison. And for testing the floppy (don't laugh to hard)
So I just wandered if anyone had a digital version of Release 19 anywhere out there.
All I can say is WOW, still running Rls 19? You are a brave soldier. Funny though, I have a full set of paper back Rls 23 books setting on my desk. I still refer to them now and again. Nothing better than having the actual book in front of you.
I have a copy of the Rls 23 MERL. its kind of big 330meg. It's a compressed cd image and will need to be extracted and them mounted with something like Daemon Tools
