reinstalling exchange trial and existing mailboxes

I just had a wonderful issue... I couldnt start the MS Info Store service due to a service error 0, which they said had to do with permissions and account rights, their solution on the KB was to use adsiedit to fix it. My prob there was adsiedit was giving a protection fault when I tried to run it too, so I am in the process of reinstalling the whole email server's OS.
My question:
When I get this all back up, install the exchange server trial again after doing domain and forest prep stuff, the 2 accounts I had created before for the email server , will they still be showing up in the active directory when I view those accounts? Will there be any repurcussions to installing exchange and these accounts possibly linking up?

Yeah, it wont let me reinstall the xchg server trial. I ran forestprep and domainprep, but then when I got to running setup for the trial software, I get the following message "component MS exchange and messaging collaberation services cannot be assigned to the action install. A server object from this domain already exists in the administrative group, "First Administrative Group"" It says I need to remove the server object to install this thing, but I cant find where I'm supposed to do that.
Just trying to set this server up has been the biggest nightmare!
