Back when they first did AAM via SM, they had you use a regex like "voicemail" @ the domain .com
SM has dial plan ranges too if you enable those. So, you can have 555-1234:555-2994 without having to have entries for 555-13xx, 555-14xx, etc
If something dialed first.last@company.com, you might be able to have a regex for like "any alpha send to lync
