On one of the computers here we have a process running called regnut.exe. It doesn't look familiar and it is using a lot of memory in the processes. I think it may be a virus, but I couldn't find any literature on it. Does anyone know what this process is?

That's a wierd one. How much memory is it taking up in your processes?

Make sure you download and run:

http://www.lavasoft.com

Adware

and Spybot Search & Destroy

http://www.safer-networking.org

Also,

http://www.grisoft.com

and download the free AVG 7 Virus Edition and update all three and see if that helps.

Follow the whole process started in my FAQ: faq760-4962 and follow the instructions in the others I listed in there. If it's malicious, one of the listed cleanups should get it.

cuz the only reference I have found was a Russian Website, and belief me the most cracks and badies come from or over Russian Websites...
