Is it possible to deploy registry settings or deploy files using GPOs? I can't seem to find anything that comes close.
All I need to do is transfer a setting to remove the 'remember password' checkbox from Dial Up connections, and place an Internet home page on the workstations in my network. I know how to point at a particular URL I just need to put it in place.
It's not ZENWorks is it?

the internet home page can be forced via group policy if you want. as for the reg hack, you could put it in a login script..?

Thanks for this.
I'll have to agree this seems to be the only way.
However having just got to grips with the power of ZenWorks I can't help but think Microsoft have missed a trick.

ALSO within the GPO you can have it disable remember passwords. (If I remember right)

There's alot of settings in GPO for both user and machine in the administrative templates\windows components\internet explorer. Also check out the computer configuration\windows settings\security settings\registry folder. Is this what you're looking for?
