Registry problem in VB

Hi everybody,

In VB 6, I am getting an error when I click on the REFERENCE option in the PROJECT menu. The error message is :'Error accessing the system registry'. When I click on the COMPONENTS option, it doesn't give any error message.

Can any one help me to solve this problem? My OS is Windows XP professional.
