Hi,

I am currently administering several SQL Server units in my company, and for 'Network' reasons everytime I reboot my workstation my Enterprise Manager loses all the registrations to the servers.
I spend part of the morning re-registering them all one by one... it's getting old pretty fast.

I am wondering if there is a simple dos cmd that I can enter in a batch file and run it in my startup that could do all the registering for me...

or any other solution.. I am up for ideas =)

Thanks!

Registered servers are stored in the Registry. You could run reg edit to add the keys. I have seen a similar problem like this before.
Your domain controler is still a NT 4 and you change your password you will loose your registered servers. I called microsoft on that. They gave me a legacy key to add to the registry. Unfortionalty I don't have that key anymore since it was on my old PC.

I would contact Microsoft.

- Database performance looks fine, it must be the Network!

Thank Paul.
I'll look into that.
