Normally, in the Run box from the Start menu,<br>
you should be able to do:<br>
regsvr32 [path to the dll, normally c:\windows\system]\mscomm32.ocx<br>

or regocx32 {path} if that doesn't work.<br>

Sometimes this doesn't work,,, for example..When you get the TAPILINE.ocx file,, some systems refuse to regester it,,<br>
so you have to get some programs to make its regestration..<br>
You sometimes have to unregister a control before it can be reistered, which sounds ok doesn't it? You can imagine that if you upgrade an .ocx you might have to uninstall the old version first. But sometimes you have to do this with .ocx's that aren't on your system yet :-(<br>

Anyway. "regsvr32" to get the help screen.<br>
