Hey guys,
There is a problem and I need your help:
I have 2 Computers, let's say A and B.
On both there is Excel installed on WiNNT4.
On Computer A, in regional settings the decimal seperator is set to "," on the other one "."
When I copy now data from a database to Excel on PC B, I see all with the point seperation of course.
I open then the file on machine A, and it looks also ok so far.
But when I start to calculate with these values, i notice that the values change by factor 1000.
Is there a workaround or any ideas???
Has anybody experienced similar problems?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi stonee,

I suggest that you go into Start, Settings, Control Panel, and Regional Settings on both machines and set them up so that they are identical and the way you want them. If you don't have access to Regional Settings check with your System Administration.

Then see whether you still have problems.

Good Luck!
