Hi All,
How do I read / extract a key(s) (with its value) from a .reg file,.
Is there any automatic way to update the registry with the data in the .reg file
Thanks
mmfried

I believe that running the .reg file will update the registry.

nicsin thanks,
I know that, but I'm trying to do this on multiple user system , and therfore I'm looking 4 a way to extract info. from the .reg file and write it manuly to the registry.

A .reg file is basically a text file. So you should be able to manipulate it as such and create or customize the .reg file before you run it.
