Refused Connection -- Bellnexxia.net

After installing Keiro (firewall) and AVG (antivirus) on a Del 4600, running XP, the e-mail will not go through, when containing attachments. The same thing happens, whether using Outlook or Eudora. We have been able to send text messages with no problem. The message is "bellnexxia.net connection refused." What does bellnexxia have to do with e-mail that is being sent from one isp to another, when bellnexxia.net is not part of the sender's address or the e-mail address to which the mail is being sent?
