Hello all. What does the line "network 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 area 0" above mean?

Thanks for all helps...

network 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 area 0

Would mean allow all traffic, or route all traffic more correctly. Not a very good use of the command. Easiest way to think of this is a reverse ACL. 0.0.0.255 means allow all through, much like 0.0.0.0 or 255.255.255.255. You could basically say it was like an odd way of saying "any any" in an access-list.

The "area 0" is part of OSPF, you have to tell the Router what area it needs to use for this route selection. Area 0, is the main or backbone area.
