Hi

We use outlook 2003, exchange 2003 and SBS2003 and need to redirect all email to me@company.co.uk to me@hotmail.com for example.

Have set up redirect rule in outlook to apply to all email (ie no conditions or exceptions) to redirect to me@hotmail.com.

mail is recived as normal locally (as it should be) but nothing is forwarded.

Any ideas appreciated

Thanks
Martin

This sounds like a business atmosphere. I know with us we can access our mail accounts from our provider through their website to change settings ie forwarding, auto response messages etc.

Maybe instead of tryin to do it through outlook you can do it at the pop server.

Thanks Bill

Am looking into this as a possibility, however would like to get outlook 2003 to redirect as it should from a server based rule.

Any more ideas welcome.

Martin

Do you have complete control of your server? I don't use OE but it seems to me that what you're trying to do would be better and more efficiently accomplished by redirecting from your mail server rather than from your local machine.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

thanks tviman

Yes I do have access to server, on server/exchange I can redirect within domain but not to external address which is what we want to do, but using pop3 rather than smtp.

thanks so far
