Hopefully someone can help. I just installed MS Office 2003 and everthing upgraded from Office XP just fine. Except that when I recieve any emails from a vendor or site I get a Red x where a picture should be. I had a problem with Red X where files .gif was happening in IE 6.0 and I cured that problem with renaming the "Hosts.sav" but this one I can not figure out. Help/

Have you tried right-clicking on the x and choosing to download pictures?

There is a feaure in Outlook 2003 and allows you to choose whether or not to download pictures. Most pictures in email messages from vendors are actually stored on the vendor's Web site, so if you can see the pictures, they have the ability to see that you (your IP address) opened the email.

Please also note that you have chosen a "News Item" rather than a question. If you want to ask a question, choose "question" when setting up the thread

Thanks guys for help, but I think I mislead you. Let me clarify that the emails that I'm getting have the Red X where an icon like a .jpg or .gif, not a real picture. Sorry about that. If the answer is the same please let me know.

Yep (if I understood your post), the answer is still the same. Please post whether it works.

Thanks Lilliabeth It did the trick. Clicked on it like you said and the darn thing worked.
