i am trying to build my 1st website.i am using dreamweaver 3.i put a picture in the document and it shows up in the preveiw.the image is in the same folder as my web page document, but when i upload and goto the page the picture is no longer in the document.this is probably a simple task, but i am missing something.
please help.
:(

The red X means the image is not where the HTML file says it is. Being your first site my bet is the image source is pointing to your local hard drive, probably like C:\\images\image.gif.

Check that first and if that isn't it post again. » » » » » »

What system you use? Mac or PC? If you use Mac, i think your problem is: miss extention of your image files! you must add .jpg or .gif to these images.

Another reason is: bad upload! Use FTP program to check the size of these images.

(sorry for my english!!!)
