Recycle bin with roaming profiles

Hi

I set up a Windows 2000 domain (with XP pro Work Stations) and am using roaming profiles. The problem is when anything is dropped in the recycle bin it is gone for ever.
Any ideas where it goes and if I can stop this behaviour?

I'm almost positve... When files stored on the server are dragged into the "Recycle" bin, they are immediately deleted and are not saved in the recycle bin. Thus they cannot be restored by simply dragging them out of the recycle bin and can only be recovered by requesting a restoration from the backups.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I was just hoping there might be a way around it.
