Recursive file copy without pathnames

Anyone know an easy way to copy files from subdirectories without copying the subdirectory structure? ie put all the copied files into one directory.

Ideally I would like to specify files modified within the past day.

search the vbs forum - Scripting.FileSystemObject.

Thanks! I was hoping there was nifty tool out there that did the job (and avoid scripting). I don't think i can do it with xcopy.

the vbs script shouldn't be that bad.
there are tools out there just cost $. you could look into automate (
