Recovery of excel files

Have you tried Excel 2002/2003 built in facility by clicking the drop down on the 'Open Dialogue box' and choosing 'Open and Repair'?
Failing that, The spreadsheet element of OpenOffice the free Office suite at is excellent at recovering corrupt Excel files that even Excel cannot. Approx a 70MB download.
