Hi,

I have a question regarding goldmine revocery.

one of my hard drive was formatted and the goldmine is on that drive.

i used data recovery to recover the formatted files. i also used disk genius but i cannot find the datadict.dbf

where can i locate this file? because i dont have any backup made. can anyone help me regarding this matter.

Thanks

DATADICT.DBF is a 'canned' file and comes with the installation of whatever version of GoldMine you're using. What's your exact/full version of GoldMine?

Hi Sir Goner,

the version of my goldmine is 5.70.111111 and my goldmine is not installed it's like a portable goldmine which i only run the gmw.exe

Well, it sort of has to e there, on on a network. Your executable may be pointed at the Network or Locally, however, whether Networked or Local the dll's/exe's/dBase Tables must be there. You should be on at least 5.70.30503, and as Doug has stated, it is a canned file that is extracted from the installer.
