recovering DB - have ldf/mdf

I don't have a backup for msdb database but i have the mdf and ldf file. how can I attach the msdb database?? any help will be greatly appreciated.

What version of SQL Server. there is a flag that you can set that will allow you to detach the old msdb db and attach the other one. i'm not sure what the flag is Check BOL.
